How much damage can and should be limited by appropriate legislation? Is it okay for example to declare unencrypted private conversation technology illegal? We present a EU law proposal for that, should we refine that and bring it into the public discourse? What other things can we fix by legislation instead of circumvention?

Confirmed so far:

  • Jeremie Zimmermann –– la Quadrature du Net
  • carlo von lynX –– presenting a EU law proposal that requires laptops and phones to respect the constitutional right of Secrecy of Correspondence from 2015 on

All Internet activists and politicians are invited on stage! Riot!!

Come 15 minutes earlier to see the YBTI Results presentation!!
