CAcert has over 200,000 verified users and has issued nearly 800,000 certificates as of January 2012. I've started using CAcert.org for encrypted communication with my mail and web servers quite recently. So I'm by no means an expert in cryptography. But if you're a beginner yourself or you're an experienced user and want to share your insights be there! I'll present my procedures which we'll discuss along the way.
