Needs network 3) more than normal Villages describe network needs We'll be running a network (48 ports Gbit switch with 10Gbit uplink) so we would like if possible an optical fiber or if not a fast copper port, we can bring our own fiber or copper cable but maybe it is better if it can be buried and coming next to the tent we rent.
Needs power 4) Village with more than 60 citizens (63A CEE 400V)
Power comment Updated TBC (06/07/2015)

Kithen is running mainly with gaz, but we need to power : - fridges - 400V 3 phased cookink oven (& for pastry... For 50 people...) <- need POWER ;) - lighting... - CNC milling machine & stuff needed for workshops (light, CNC router, PCB manufacturing...)

Village plans ... build up a big tent, ... bring some special machines, ... install a fridge or a freezer, ... have any other unusual installations, ... run a kitchen for our citizens
Village constraints We are a quiet village and will not make much noise. So we like to be placed on a quiet location., We would like to have trees on our village area, We like to show the stuff we do
Village comments plans Updated (06/07/2015)

We will both rent a bing tent (72m² dedicated to workshops), and bring two (2*36m²) of ours as "life support" space (kitchen and mess)...

We will also have PCB manufacturing stuff, and a CNC milling machine able to do 3D milling in aluminium.

Likes to rent a tent Yes
Descibing tents to rent We would like wooden floor, and we plan to rent at least 15*5m tent (depending on what will be possible, of course).

  • A 6m high satellite tracking antenna will be installed
  • We plan to bring all the stuff needed to manufacture printed circuit boards, and a CNC milling machine able to do 3D milling in aluminium.
  • Several worktables with all the equipement to do electronics will be installed inside big tent...

Workshops / Self Organized Sessions

Represented organizations

Electrolab

The Electrolab is a hackerspace located in Nanterre near Paris. This four years old non-profit organization is still growing, and wa are doing renovations fo a year and a half in the space in order to have properly installed 1500m² of workshops, labs and training rooms. Despite all the efforts requested from all Electrolab's volunteers a lot of nice projects are meanwihe emerging !

The 1500 square meter space allows us to work on a lot of different fields including electronics, mechanics, robotics, physics, chemistry...

We are also very interested in Electric mobility and we are often working on electric vehicles such as cars, bikes or even self balancing units, providing a lot of fun to our members :)
