HQ Tracker
HQ stands for High Quality and means 2 kinds of quality:
- 1. The source has to be good. Only DVD, DVD-rips, hd etc. No Screener, Telesync.
- 2. Filename/Tagging: You can go home with thousends of untaged mp3 files and without any filename rule or you can go home with pre taged stuff and filenames they help you. There is a difference between appT17A.avi and Alpha Centauri Epi17.avi
Crap Torrents will be removed beside torrents which register through open torrent, they get a own category
Account
You can register with username and password only. But it is only neccessary for uploaders. As benefit you can see how much stuff you shared in the stats.
Announce RSS etc.
The Announce URL is http://hq.servebeer.com/announce.php RSS Feeds will be available as well!
Technical Information about the project itself
The codebase is from tbdev.net. A php based torrenttracker. But i removed a lot of code like chat, forum and also changed stuff to perform better. I will also use xCache as opcode cache.
If you like, you can get the sourcecode and set up your own tracker. When i have time, i can also support you.
