Detourning CCTV for the internet, OpenCV

Starting from a short description of an open source european project (1) build to improve cctv surveillance performance, with a focus on their ethical point of view, we'll speak about a cool "detournment" of that code (opencv), to anonymize faces on video in internet (2; a chance to educate web 2.0 users to care about people's privacy while publishing their images on social networks. Another way of detournment of cctv cameras activities could be to stream that videos on internet and to make them really pubblic, not just in the hands of power, we'll show bitnik's collective activities (3) and suggest some ways to stream cctv on internet. This is meant to create awareness about the increase of surveillance technologies, and to let coders understand that's not true tha they cannot do anything about it.
