What on earth is that?

The Digital Freedom Days are a free conference and a hacking event, They are organised by Chaostreff Tübingen and friends. The Digital Freedom Days are aimed not only at techies, but at anyone with a passion for discovering new things, meeting people and with the desire to live a free and self-determined life together. That’s why this year’s motto is “Encrypting Free Spaces”. The aim is to strengthen civil society projects and groups, whilst of course having lots of fun. Spread across four floors, there will be talks, workshops, projects, art, a party, delicious food and of course plenty of chatting and hacking.

The event location is the Westspitze (Eisenbahnstraße 1), about a 5-minute walk from the main station.

To help us plan more effectively, we are trialling Pretix this year. This should enable us to provide a more accurate beforehand estimate of our resource requirements. Please support us by signing up. You are also welcome to take this opportunity to make a donation.

Would you like to register an assembly, group table or project? Do you have a fancy art installation or a lovely detail? Then sign up at our Call for Arts and Projects!

Helping elves!

The event is run by lots of volunteering elves. They choose shifts via the Elfensystem and bustle about all over the venue. Would you like to help run the event? Then become an elf and sign up via our Elfensystem (elve system). Registration opens approximately two weeks before the event.
