NooK 2026: Call for Participation

Moin! The “Nights of Open Knowledge” (NooK) 2026 will take place on 20–⁠21 November at the Audimax (the largest lecture hall) of the University of Lübeck. The Call for Participation for NooK 2026 is now open. You can submit proposals for talks, workshops, stalls, or meetups. Submissions are open until 28 September.

We would be delighted if you could bring topics that fascinate you to the event and share your knowledge and skills. Whether you’ve engaged with a topic through a hobby, a club, at university, at work, or through political activism, we cordially invite you to submit your proposal. Your talk or workshop can cover almost any field: from current research, archaeology, and board games to climate, computer science, medicine, journalism, digital independence, open source, and lifestyle. Almost anything goes!

NooK is especially a place for you if you haven’t had much experience with giving talks yet. We would love to motivate you to share your ideas. We also welcome artistic contributions to enrich our foyer; please use the “stall” submission form for this.
