Good news everybody. There will be a mobile phone network at the camp.
We will setup a 2G/3G network and experiment with 4G as well.

Our network will support general data and voice services. The mobile
network will be connected to the POC, IOW it’s possible to call between
DECT and GSM numbers as usual.

Number registration is done via the guru UI.

Additionally we’re planning to add an interface to send and receive SMS
over HTTP. So you can create your own SMS-IRC gateway!

You will need to use a congress or camp SIM card to connect to our
network, so please bring your SIM cards from previous events, for
yourself and/or to share with your neighbours. We will only have a few
spare SIM cards to sell.

Hey, we’re going to Mildenberg!

Whoah! We’re going to Mildenberg
Whoah! Back to the campground
Whoah! We’re gonna have a party
Whoah! In the Brandenburgische Seenplatte

We’d like to make your travel to camp as smooth and relaxing as possible and have therefore in the following blog post done a detailed writeup of the different modes of travel to camp. A big thank you to everyone who took part in our survey! It’s been a great help.

Bassliner Shuttlebus from Berlin and Hamburg
Following a similar route to last Camp, we’ve organized shuttle services from Berlin and Hamburg. All tours will get you directly to Camp location and back after the event. There is no silly luggage restriction, as all buses come with luggage trailers.

One-way-tickets from Berlin are 13€ and Hamburg costs 23€. Detailed instructions and the booking system are on the bassline website: https://bassliner.org/reiseziel/ccc/.

IMPORTANT: The bus schedule is based on the feedback from the survey. More times can be added, should you’re ideal route not be in the list.

More Bassliners from your city and your time/date
Bassliner offers to do buses from all German cities at your requested date. Key requirement is that you have at least 25 people bindingly committed to the tour. We’ve created a wiki page to help you find 24 other people in your city. All other info can be found there.
IMPORTANT: Deadline for all extra tours is Saturday, the 10.08.2019 23:42 CEST.

By Train ..
As with every CCC Event, there is a DB Event ticket for the Camp.

If you are younger than 27, you may also use the DB Summerticket, which is only 99,60€. There are 4 journeys on it and you can add a detour to some friends or add a stop at the Verstehbahnhof.

.. to Gransee station continuing by public transport bus or shuttle bus to camp

The train station Gransee is being serviced hourly by the RE5 train from Berlin. From there a public transport bus (line 854) drives to Camp (Ziegeleipark) at 10:40, 11:40 and 12:40 daily.

We’ve organized an additional shuttle service, since 3 buses won’t provide enough capacity.
Tickets cost € 3,50. Times are:

on the 19.08. 16:00, 17:00 and 18:00

on the 20.08., 21.08. and 25.08.from 14:00 until 20:00 (min. 1 x / hour if needed more frequently)

on the 26.08. from 9:00 until 14:00 (min. 1 x / hour, if needed more frequently)

.. to Zehdenick station continuing by public transport bus to camp
You can check the buses (line 838) from Zehdenick station on the Brandenburg public transport website, which will get you straight to Camp (Ziegeleipark).

There is more information on the buses in the Camp Wiki.

By CAR
The address for your sat nav can be found in the wiki.

Extrapolating the numbers from our survey, we expect about 2000 private cars! Please double check if Bassliner or public transport might be possible, as it saves parking spaces and helps our environment. Should you have spare space in your car, please consider adding it to the ride sharing/ hitchhiking wiki page!

Please be aware that no cars will be allowed to stay on the camp site and time and space for loading and unloading will be limited. We ask you to carry light luggage onto the event site. We’re trying to source some carts to help with moving luggage.

Ride Sharing/ Hitchhiking
Can be found in under the Ridesharing Wiki page.

By bicycle
The Berlin – Kopenhagen long-distance cycling route runs past camp after ~97km from Berlin. The route is part of D11 as well as EuroVelo 7. The Berlin-Kopenhagen bike route is both scenic as well as separated from cars. It runs through forests and along the river Havel. The whole route is properly tarmacked and road bike friendly.

Anyone not keen on the full distance can take the tube to Oranienburg station. cycle along the B273 eastwards until you hit the Havel and then join the Berlin-Kopenhagen route for 42km.

Camp Wiki contains more into for arriving by bike

By ship
Team Harbor takes care of all creatures arriving by boat. Please contact them if you plan on coming by ship!

Other modes of transport
We’re keen to hear which modes are missing in the blog post, please add them in the wiki.

Enjoy your journey and we’ll see you in Mildenberg.

Being an Angel at Chaos Communication Camp 2019

Hello fellow life form.
Let’s get it out of the way: We need lots of volunteers, especially for teardown. If you want to help, become an angel.

I want to help
That’s easy. You just need to register on Engelsystem and come to heaven on camp. You’ll find more details in our wiki.

I want to help with buildup
There are not as many different tasks during buildup, so please don’t arrive early without talking to us first. If you are resilient, love to to tackle even heavy work and want to arrive early for buildup please contact us at ticket@c3heaven.de so we’re able to plan for you accordingly. Be aware of the timeline.

I want to help during camp
Nice! Being an angel is one of the best opportunities to meet new people and look behind the scenes. There are many different tasks in the Engelsystem and you might join different teams on the “Angeltypes” page. There’s an overview of angeltypes. Questions will be answered by heaven in the Engelsystem and via email to ticket@c3heaven.de.

I want to help with teardown
To leave no traces we especially need angels after camp. Just stay a little longer and help with teardown.

What else is there to know?
We’ll be surrounded by nature, so plan and act accordingly.
Be aware of heat and the sun, drink more water and apply sunscreen.
This checklist might give you some pointers on what to consider.
There will be a tent only (no campers) heaven village, although we encourage you to prioritize populating other villages first.
For further and frequent questions monitor the “Ask the Heaven” page on Engelsystem.

We look forward to your contributions, projects, and participation as Camp is what you make of it. Without you, it would just be a pile of infrastructure right in the middle of nowhere. So let’s make the Camp into a Hackerevent worth remembering. See you.

Wir sind in der Natur, deal with it

Hello camp visitors,

there is general camp planning going on for several weeks so far. Now we need information in terms of your villages in order to do concrete campsite planning. If you want to create some big stuff we need to know. You can find the contact details below in this post.
For your orientation we gathered some facts that are clear so far:

water:
The watersystem we build up for the camp is limited in its capacity and unfortunately won’t be very high due to local supply limitation. This means that we need to watch our water consumption a little bit. From the overall capacity we need to supply all of the sanitary and gastronomic infrastructure, e.g. the showers, dish washing stations, drinking water supply, heavens kitchen and so on. That means we cannot manage to supply running water in individual villages. So please plan to get water from the closest water station and find a workaround with water tanks. It’s also planned to limit the showering time to several hours a day to reduce the amount of water consumption.
Please be thrifty with the water and for example take a dip in the nearest lake instead of having a massive water fight on the campsite.

electricity:
As for the 2015 camp we will bring generators for the electricity supply because we can´t get enough power from the Ziegeleipark. As usual for a generator powered grid interruptions are possible.
It’s the same as for the water: please be thrifty and leave hungry consumers (e.g. old fridges or likewise) at home.
If you want to use your own solar power infrastructure to supply your village or if you are bringing big power consumers (>2kW) you necessarily need to speak to our power team (camp2019@c3power.de). Due to necessary fire protection, environmental and noise issues, please leave own generators at home. Nobody likes stinking two-stroke engine generators.

tents and buildings:
Due to safety reasons on the campsite you need to involve the village team in the planning of your village. If you want to bring big tents or build up something special, you need the village team’s permission. Tents for example are limited to the size of 75 square meters and must not have a second floor. Please don’t bring materials that are easily inflammable to build up your village. Cars and similar vehicles can not be parked in the villages.
Don’t dig holes and pits. There are several undocumented cables and pipes in the Ziegeleipark which are suspected to lie low under ground. The ground is not fun to dig in either. Also please don’t bring big pegs and don’t drive your tent pegs deeper in the ground than 20cm.
Please answer the village registration (https://signup.c3assemblies.de/) and speak about your plans. You also get the possibility to order tables, chairs, big tents and wood via the village team. Only register your planned village if you already got a ticket for the camp!

fire and cooking:
There definitely won’t be the possibility to have open fires or campfires on the campsite and the whole area due to fire safety. The same goes for barbeque grills on the campsite. As in 2015 there will a defined area where barbeque grills can be used. If you want to use a gas cooker make absolutely sure that it is based on some non inflammable ground and that it stands solidly and is not likely to fall over. The operation of a major village kitchen is only possible after permission of the village team.
Please be aware that the fire safety rules need to be adjusted if there is a change in weather oder dryness and can become stricter.

vehicles:
If you want to bring your vehicle please take care of the ground, yourself and the people nearby. The campsite won’t have a continuously bright illumination and a black dressed person or a pothole can easily be overlooked in the later evening. Please leave your battery powered vehicles at the chargers after dusk and please leave vehicles running on any kind of fuel at home. The noise and exhaust for other camp visitors exceed the individual fun. Also if your vehicle is leaking fuel it will damage the environment around.

water protection and environmental protection:
The Ziegeleipark Mildenberg is based in a water protection area (Wasserschutzgebiet). Please make sure that your cars, campers, motorcycles etc. are not leaking fuel.
Please leave any kind of chemicals at home. The opportunity of producing a new circuit board versus the possibility of damaging the closest drinking water reservoir is definitely not worth it.

music and noise:
If you bring PAs please limit the volume in sense of your neighbors on the campsite and outside the Ziegeleipark. Background music is totally fine in your village but constant party volume in some parts of the campsite was a problem in 2015 that we don´t want to have again.
There will be a major party area that is designed to produce a low noise level to the outside.

be excellent to each other:
In 2015 we got major complaints from neighbors outside the Ziegeleipark about noise, trash thrown in private gardens and damage to private property. We assume that this won´t happen again. Be excellent to each other!

dont forget your towel:
Have in mind that we are outside in the actual nature in midsummer. Bring sun protection, bring sunscreen, a big hat, create yourself some shady space. Have in mind to drink enough and also have in mind that in case of rain it can become quite muddy.
Bring a chair including a backrest and don’t forget your towel!

questions?

Village coordination, village buildup, village placing and questions
about villages: cccamp19@c3assemblies.de
Village registration: https://signup.c3assemblies.de/

Power supply, solar powered infrastructure, questions concerning your needed supply: camp2019@c3power.de

Logistics, deliveries, mail, moving heavy objects on campsite and so on: camp19@c3loc.de

Camp is over since long, but some people are still working hard to get all the things back into place. There is still plenty of stuff in our storage that needs to get cleaned and stored back, to be ready for the next congress! One of those piles is the famous lost’n’found, you might have heard about it :)

All those things are idling now in Berlin, and waiting patiently to get back to you!

Please write to camp2015-lostandfound@cccv.de if any of the found items listed there belong to you. Please write us some details about your lost thing, so that we can be sure that the item actually belongs to you. Thank you!

Towards a greener CCCamp?

When in this years’ camp’s opening ceremony hukl noticed that the on-ground generators actually are a little embarrassing for the hacker’s scene and the camp should in fact be self-sustaining, he struck an important chord: If not even the self-proclaimed tech elite is able to power its festival without burning fossiles, the IT-revolution will never be a very green one.

And it got us thinking where most of the electricity is spent on site (we will leave out central infrastructure for now), and we guess we’re basically heating wires and transformator coils. If we can eliminate on-tent demand for those power-consumers, we can get rid of miles of extension cords, inefficient chargers and most important: the noisy and smelly generators.

The average participant needs power to charge phone and notebook, illuminate the tent and it’s surroundings, play music and refrigerate beers or (baby) milk. None of this actually needs AC power.

After being thunderstruck at CCCamp15, via „powlpaul“

Ultrabright LEDs lasting a week on an off-the-shelf power brick are dead cheap by now and from our experience even need some shades to be comfortable.

Looking ahead four years to the next camp, an average notebook computer may even run on the power you brought in its battery from home – we’re not so sure about your smart phone, though ;). However, there’s no need to have everyone re-convert the 230 V we just transverted, back down to 5 V, when we can just provide USB outlets powered by Power walls or their future competitors. They could be pre-charged with solar power and neatly distributed around the camp ground.

Laptops and other devices that do not last a whole camp might also be charged&locked at central charging stations. Since virtually all chargers convert to DC, an exhaustive set of plugs and a variable regulator can take care of all devices, including your power bricks.

For the day to day refrigerating needs, one or some centralized cooling sources helps saving energy, as well. A coin locker system where each slot can take a six pack of beer will surely do.

There is a whole tinkerer scene building urban sound systems running on batteries that fit in a child’s waggon. We doubt you can’t find a way to annoy everyone around you with loud 90ies techno without a wall plug socket.

Other festivals offer deposits returned if you return you trash. We might do the same with power, if you feed clean energy into our grid. Maybe you can have your toddlers walk in a treadmill?

If you manage to operate your whole village infrastructure without our electricity, you will be placed on the glorious environmental heroes list.

We have not yet fully explored, how to improve our central infrastructure in NOC, lecture halls and sanitary installations. More aspects and ideas that might help reduce our environmental impact are welcome in the comments.

While it might seem unrealistically to operate the whole CCCamp 2019 independently of external and fossile energy sources, we can at least challenge ourselves to dedicate half or even more of the camp site DC and generator free and be a good example not only to outdoor festivals.

Do you have thoughts on that?

Video and audio streaming during #cccamp15

As with most chaos events, c3voc and friends will cater for recording and streaming of the lectures in the two main tents. On the campsite you will be able to watch them on DVB-T channels 35, 40, 49 or listen to them on your DECT or GSM phone (numbers 8001 & 8002 and 8011 & 8012 for simultaneous interpretation). There will be programming broadcast on FM radio at 89.30 MHz and DAB at 211.648 MHz (channel 10B).

If you participate via the internet, you can enjoy our live streams using your favorite device at https://streaming.media.ccc.de. If all goes well, we will also provide ReLive streamdumps there, in case you missed a lecture. We’ll experiment with multicast streams, check back with us at https://streaming.media.ccc.de/multicast/ for more information. After the event, all recorded lectures will be available in better quality on https://media.ccc.de. Beware of lectures marked as „optout“ in the schedule – we will neither stream nor record them!

As a special service for the villages and their participants who’d like to broadcast, we will also provide a free audio-streaming infrastructure. It’s for everybody on the Camp site, who wants to transmit music, sound or noise to the world wide webs. Those streams will appear side-by-side with the main video- and audio-streams at https://streaming.media.ccc.de. If you would like to publish one or more such streams, please visit the corresponding wiki page. We’ll publish more information there, once the service is up and running.

If you are interested in our activities or just want to visit, you can find us on the campsite in our container next to the big lecture tent „Project 2501“, or follow us on twitter.

Ticket system re-opens Friday, 2015-07-31, 22:00 CEST

Unpaid tickets ordered before July 16th are dropped now. Do not pay for those anymore!

There will be 250 tickets made available on Friday, 2015-07-31, at 22:00 CEST sharp!

Please pay for your precious ticket immediately after you have ordered it! Ask friends to help you out!

Once those 250 tickets are gone, <strike>you can create a verpeiler-friends-request.</strike>

We all need to move closer together to have enough space for everyone.

<strike>Verpeiler-friends-request? If you don’t get your ticket on Friday, you have one very last, very tiny chance: Go to the ticket system and convince us that you are one of our dearest verpeiler-friends. There won’t be many of those tickets available. Also you need to be very patient waiting for a reply. Please try really hard to order your ticket on Friday, 22:00 CEST!</strike> We are sold out!

We had a pretty difficult time now: so many messages from so many people wondering if there are any tickets left.

We felt we couldn’t break all those hearts and have managed to increase the number of available tickets a tiny bit. That way we won’t have to turn as many of you away; but this also means we’ll need to share the resources amongst more people – less camping space, less time in the shower, less electricity for everyone at the camp. Please keep this in mind – especially once you arrive – build your tents as close together as possible and consider merging spaces. Sharing is part of the Camp spirit!

Camp tickets sold out? Not entirely….

– Yes, at this very moment you cannot order any tickets.
– There are unpaid tickets reserved, that we’ll put back into sale.
– We will tell you around 24 hours before.

There is a ten day payment duration. We know you(*), so we usually take this deadline fairly easy. As a campsite has restrictions in space and infrastructure, it is not possible to have more people than space actually available. 4500 Tickets have already gone over the digital cash desk, but we haven’t received the money for all of them.

Now we apparently need to take it less easy: We clean up all our ticket-related issues, like friends and upgrades, before dropping unpaid tickets that passed the due date.

If you have paid more than 4 business days ago, but your ticket is still marked as unpaid, please contact us and provide identifying information about your payment: your IBAN, account holder’s name, payment reference, payment date, etc.

If you ordered your ticket and the due date already passed, you are lost. Go and get a ticket once we put yours back into sale.
SEPA transfers until Sunday might still reach us in time. Non-SEPA international transfers definitively will not! Every payment made after the weekend will neither!
It causes us a lot work if you pay too late, cause we have to bounce your payment manually. Please help each other out with the payment, and distribute this message within your friends&families. Also think about directly pinging usual suspects that you want to see at camp to make sure that they get their ticket!

and ourselves, the usual suspects.
Or: “wir kennen doch unsere Pappenheimer… aeh… Verpeiler!”

Join the Angels for the best Camp experience

Our Camp and our Chaos Communication Congress would not be possible without the great work of our volunteers, called Angels.

Your engagement as an Angel is the perfect opportunity to become a part of Camp and make it even more amazing for everyone involved. Apart from that, volunteering is a great chance to meet new people.

What makes being an Angel so special, you may wonder? Let us answer this with another question: Are you able to run an event with thousands of visitors, creative minds, eager to discuss, explore and most of all: create?

Join the Angels and find out! Doing so, you will join a community as old as the Camp itself. Since the very first Congress in 1984, everything is done by volunteers called ‘Angels’. In return, the Angels get some quiet space in the famous ‘Heaven’ including food and drink supply, and the good feeling of helping out and being part of the Camp experience.

If you love crafting and do some construction work we would love if you show up for buildup, starting on the 5th of August. If you are an electrical or a plumber you are also very welcome at build up time. There are will be also a lot of work to do beside of build up.

We want to plan the right amount of space, food and drinks for our build up Angels. Therefore it would be great if you signup right now under engelsystem.de and tell us when you arrive. In the near future you can also sign up for your favourite shifts, tasks, and times in the angelsystem.

Many of the tasks do not need any knowledge besides showing up on time but are nonetheless vital for the Camp. Other tasks may need an introduction with which you will be provided in time at the Camp. Please read the Angel wiki page for basic information.

If you do not, how to become an Angel or have any questions, you can also visit the Heaven and ask, how you could help. Heaven will also announce tasks to be done and short notice tasks.

So if you have two or more hours to spare, sign up for a shift! We will be waiting for you in Heaven!

If you don’t want to participate in making the Camp work, at least take your time and thank at least 3 Angels every day to show your gratitude. :)

On the cost of large-scale projects…

As we all know, the cost of large-scale endeavors is hard to predict. Sometimes, more costs come up unexpectedly. When we started the ticket sale, we presented you with an estimate of the costs at that time. Divide that by the maximum number of participants and you get an average ticket price we had to meet to cover those costs. Those costs were already calculated conservatively, but reality beat us to it (one of the reasons is that we are going to have to produce all the electricity ourselves, another is water).

Thus, the new required average ticket price is up to 228 Euros, instead of 211 Euros. Alas, the current average is below that. That’s a problem, but no worries: The camp will take place, and it will not drive us instantaneous into financial ruin.

Symbolbild: BER (Source: CC-BY-SA 3.0 Fridolin freudenfett (Peter Kuley) Wikimedia Commons, thank you!)

We want to give everyone the opportunity to attend the Camp and ask those who can afford a higher price category to actually buy such a ticket. If you already bought your ticket and want to upgrade it, you can do so by writing to camp2015-tickets(at)cccv.de, giving your user name, the desired upgrade, and the transfer reason (e.g. “camp15-abcdef12”).

That way, we can enable people who cannot afford an expensive ticket, but still – like everyone else – want to participate and contribute to an awesome Camp, to do so.

Thank you!

rad1o

After r0ket launching into the world of electronic name badges four years ago, this year we bring you rad1o.

We enjoyed seeing r0ket being used for all sorts of purposes, even years after camp, still in use with old and new ideas. With rad1o we want to go one step further and give you a Toy and Tool that will stay a huge, useful playground after camp.

Inspired by the HackRF, rad1o wants to give you access to the world of Software Defined Radio – the generation and reception of electromagnetic waves, controlled by software rather than analogue technology. Where previously large chunks of money had to be invested in analogue hardware, SDR can save quite some money and every camp visitor can become an SDR hacker. And if that’s not what you’re planning or looking forward to, please hand on the opportunity to someone else, e.g. in your local Hackerspace.

With the rad1o transceiver you can send and receive between approximately 50/100 and 4000 MHz. Have a look what is going on in that spectrum (for example here)
If you got your hands on the HackRF, it’s a quick switch to rad1o. The software is compatible. Exact specs will be available soon on the rad1o website:

Last camp we already were impressed by the large variety of projects using the name badge — but since we chose to surprise you with the first badge some projects were lacking the needed hardware (especially the micro-USB cables…).

This time we want an even larger variety at camp! We tested our first prototype and we are optimistic that they can do everything we want to offer. While we now spend the remaining time until camp moving thousands of components across the globe* and placing them onto PCBs, the challenge for you is to find things to do with rad1o! (*please, please wait a few more weeks if you fancy a few hundred of the components on our part list in your electronics lab)

If you have rad1o questions that are not answered in the wiki, feel free to contact us, ask questions and then fill the answers in the rad1o wiki.

Contact:

IRC: irc://irc.darkfasel.net/#rad1o (Port 6697 or 9999, TLS-only, IPv6 Support)

WebIRC: https://webirc.darkfasel.net/#rad1o

Mail: team@r0ket.badge.events.ccc.de

Twitter: @rad1obadge

You want to make your village something special? Maybe some of the objects you brought can be controlled via rad1o. Or you have some SDR riddles to solve with rad1o. Or you’ll use rad1o for transmitting… radio? or …

For more fun and games with rad1o, we recommend to definitely bring a micro USB cable, and a external power bank will also come in handy. Additionally an external antenna might come in handy, see the wiki for Details. For more blinking lights we added space for LEDs (WS2812B LEDs). We probably don’t need to mention the opportunity for more crazy cases for the badge, right? :) (find CAD data in the Wiki, too).

BTW: If you like listening to the rad1o, you’ll need headphones (3.5mm standard mono headphones/microphone) or a 4-pin Headset with Microphone (like the Iphone Standard).

The camp takes place on an area which does not provide a sufficient amount of electricity to cover our needs. Deciding whether to set up our own separate transformer or augmenting the power supply through generators was a tough one. Because of financial (and time) constraints, we settled for the latter.

As a consequence, there will not be an unlimited amount of power available through a central line. Instead, it will be generated on site by a bunch of generators. While we will try our best to meet all requirements, cannot make any guarantees. Still, **most of your needs should be fulfill able if you look out for one another.**

For example, the power distribution units provide a limited number of outlets. So plan ahead, and, more importantly, talk to your neighbours on how to best divvy (and cable) them up.

If your village requested a three-phase current connection, we expect you to bring cables and distributors along yourselves. Everybody else also should bring their own extensions, since there will not be any available on site. Spot checks of your power equipment will be carried out throughout the campsite to ensure their proper functioning. Should any of your equipment not be impeccable, its usage will not be permitted. If you have questions, just send an email to: power@fengel.info. We will do our best to sort out any issues.

Again, please think of your fellow attendees! A pizza oven or USB-charger with 63A CEE are surely fancy, but they will also burn through a lot of “precious” electricity. If you consume too much, your neighbours’ tent will likely black out—and there is quite a chance they are not going to enjoy it.

There is one more issue when working with generators: refueling. To do so, the generators have to be switched off. We cannot predict how long a full tank of gas will last, but we will monitor the consumption in order to make an educated guess so as to predict the next expected downtime, which we will then post on a sign on the generator. On the bright side, such refueling should take place at most once every 24 hours, and will hopefully not take longer than 30 Minutes.

Last but not least: Availability of electricity will begin on August 11th!

Water at the Camp

As usual, the Chaos Communication Camp takes places in the middle of Nowhere. That means, quite all infrastructure for the needs of thousands of participants has to be carried out to the location.

The Ziegeleipark Mildenberg is connected to the local fresh water and waste water system. But it is not designed for that many people. So we have to store water for showers and taps. And even the waste water needs to be collected, so that it can be dumped in the night, when there is less usage from the villages around. Speaking of toilets: other than during past Camps, there will be no chemical portable toilets with a waste tank. This time we will provide water toilets and urinals! No stinky porta-potties beside your tent, what an advantage! The portable toilets are storage rooms for data communication equipment only, the good old fashioned “Datkenklo”.

We learned from the past years and install more showers than before. There will be shower containers like we had during the last Camp in 2011. Separated shower cabins with heated and enough water for a good shower. But keep in mind, other attendees want to shower as well, so keep your shower time short. We will help you with a button, which will activate the water for a short time only. You can push it endless times, but don’t expect a long, uninterrupted rain on your head.

Furthermore there are three large basins for cleaning your dishes and tools. Please use these locations, as the waste water will be collected for proper removal. You should not empty any waste water on the ground.

Like at the first two Camps in 1999 and 2003 there will be a lake next to the campsite, where you can take a refreshing dip. Please don’t use soap in there – the nature and animals won’t like it.

<a href="../../../../wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Camp2003-1777.jpg

Sparkled and drinking water will be provided by many food and beverage booths at the central market place. There is even an option for buying crates full of water, Mate or beer. If you or your village is interested in buying more than 10 crates, please contact boc@lists.ccc.de for the large order. The pricing will be announced soon.
