Already in the 1960s, OHPs and big watch glasses were creatively hacked at universities for analog light art/visuals. This resulted in live visuals perfectly suited for psychedelic rock and loop-based krautrock, enhancing stage shows for bands like CAN, Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, and others.
These analog devices are now gathering dust in educational institutions – time to save them!
Using colored foils, glass, bowls, ink, paraffin, alcohol, food coloring, oil paints, and [things], hypnotic fun light art is created live.
