AlekSIS is a free school information system that helps with school organisation as an interactive web application. It is a central platform for students, teachers, and parents to manage any information related to everyday school life. The software's functions include lesson planning, creating timetables, managing absences and substitution planning, the digital class register, inventory management, payment systems, and student ID cards. It is completely modular and can therefore be flexibly adapted to individual needs. The AlekSIS project is managed by a volunteer development team as part of Teckids e. V. Active development is currently being supported by the NLnet foundation through an NGI Zero Entrust grant.
