In this talk, I will explain the subcultural practice of genital modification in the Western context. We will see who participates in this practice and why and what it can look like.

I will share my investigation of genital modification as a means for non-binary trans people to resist the medical administration. Trans* identities help us understand any body's modification and its interplay with identity.
