Day 2

Following up on yesterday's session on ‘learning to argue differently’ (Link: https://events.ccc.de/congress/2024/hub/de/event/anders-streiten-lernen-konflikte-kulturen-methoden/), I would like to do another session today on a method that I believe has a lot of potential to facilitate better understanding in conflict dialogue.

In any attempt to enter the waters of constructive conflict resolution in a dispute, it is important to be aware of and focus on the central dimensions of conflicts. Yesterday we talked about the importance of active listening, how we can build empathy for the other person, the role of feelings and the difference between intra-personal, inter-personal and structural, as well als social-cultural-related conflicts. The aspect of changing perspective is very important in the context of mediation.

In today's session I will 1) give a short introduction to the method and then we will 2) practice the method together. (It is not assumed that you already participated yesterday)
