The Binary Kitchen is committed to citizen science and education for technology enthusiasts in its own spaces. There it offers interested parties a comfortable platform for knowledge exchange, workshops and laboratories. This is how LED light art, open source software, soldering courses, our own smart home solutions and elements of self-built 3D printers and CNC milling machines are created. Other clubs and groups show how they shape Regensburg: Freifunk Regensburg e.V. sets up open WLAN networks, Regensburg Repairs repairs devices together with their owners and the radio amateurs communicate with the whole world. Some of the members work in research at the Regensburg technology companies and in the local university landscape. This creates a chaotic mix of projects that we are happy to show to every visitor. Our rooms offer many opportunities to press every button.
