This is a community of people promoting hard science fiction. We talk and write about real science and realistic technology in science fiction to educate people about technology in the real world. We love realistic science fiction scenarios, and with many people being interested in science fiction, this gives us the opportunity to educate them about what is real, what could be, and what will always be fantasy.

Technical/scientific knowledge is important for progress, sustainability, and a realistic worldview. This works best with stories. That's why we package real science into stories and tell how the future could really be, what is relevant, how complex technology really is, how it is developed, and what's necessary to develop and operate it. Through storytelling, we try to inspire people about technology.
