The idea of this workshop is to share experiences with audio recording hardware and software. I will bring an audio interface and a large-membrane microphone, show how to build it up, and briefly with a few slides and examples describe my history of experiences with recording focused on audacity and hardware. From that start point we may share our experiences.
Everybody is welcome. Sharing previous knowledge or active participation is optional. Also there is no "You have to have this specific setup, otherwise you can forget it". The setups I will mention will start low budget, including a cheap headset microphone.
Bringing headphones and a device to access the internet can be useful but is not obligatory.
The language of the session might be German depending on a short discussion at its beginning.
Last important point: I sometimes fall out due to overloads on large events. So please check shortly before the session if I might have cancelled it. I suppose that happens with a probability of about 5-10%.
