Description Extensions are small software programs that customize the browsing experience. They enable users to tailor browser functionality and behaviour to individual needs or preferences. They are built on web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. (Source: https://developer.chrome.com/extensions) I've built a few basic extensions and want to assist you with your first steps to ease the steep learning curve. It helps if you know some HTML, JavaScript, or CSS – but if you don't join us anyway! Install a recent version of Chrome and Firefox before the workshop so we can start right away. PS: If you're a pro show up and help us newbies ;-)
