transformative justice and community accountability - under these two terms many movements, orally told stories and hands-on methods on how to deal with interpersonal violence in self-organised communities are gathered. from families to housing projects. methods that do not involve the police-prison complex, and, rather than focusing on punishment and containment, focus on healing, safety and changing the surroundings.

the idea behind this session is to give a short introduction into the basic ideas with a look on existing cases as well as giving out materials and resources to think about how you could find a model that works for your community. space for discussion of concepts and knowledge/experience-sharing.
