As a preparation, it would be best if you could install a suitable program beforehand. GIMP works okay, but my recommendation is [https://www.aseprite.org/ Aseprite], which is specialized on pixel art. Sadly, it's no longer free software since September, but you'll still find the GPL version (v1.1.7) in your software repositories.

If you want to prepare, you can install a suitable program beforehand. GIMP works okay, but my recommendation is Aseprite, which is specialized on pixel art. Sadly, it's no longer free software since September, but you'll still find the GPL version (v1.1.7) in your software repositories.

If you have a mouse (the inanimate kind), bring it! This workshop was first held at Hackover 2016.
