We (the Lucy Parsons Labs), will be presenting on our project, OpenOversight which aims to deanonymize police officers in Chicago, with the hope of helping the public file misconduct complaints against police officers. Called "a little bit extreme" we hope to discuss challenges, how to create projects like this at scale, and potential political challenge for projects like this. Further, we will discuss motivations, how we gathered data and ideas for surveillance on police officers.
