== What is this? ==
We are a group of notorious music lovers playing and mixing good tunes for you in '''hall 4'''. During congress there will be some DJ sets, chill-out sessions and workshops.
Please keep in mind hall 4 is not a party area. There is neither a dance floor nor a bar (nonetheless, you might be able to dance and drink). However, it is about meeting friends and having a cozy time. There are rumors that our sessions are a good start into the night. ;-)
== Timetable ==
== Streaming ==
Thanks to VOC we stream our sessions using their CDN: '''http://live.ber.c3voc.de:8000/chaoswest_lounge.ogg'''
== Recordings ==
We provide recordings this year for the first time. You find the recordings on Mixcloud: https://www.mixcloud.com/b4m/playlists/33c3-klangteppich/
== Location ==
Our lounge is located in hall 4 (ground floor). So come over!
== Call for sets ==
Your music skills are deeply desired! To fill up our timetable we are happy to host you. If you are a passionate DJ or musician (or both) who wants to play a set please join us! Just let us know who you are, what you would like to play, when your session should start and the estimated duration of your session. We encourage you to bring your own devices (BYOD). Of course, more than one session is possible. It will not matter if you like to use professional equipment or just your laptop.
Your planned session just depends on your creativity. Like everyone of us you only should play those genres you like the most. This could be any kind of electronic music, pop, rock or even 8bit x-mas songs played on your Game Boy. Or let the crowd decide what to play. Surprise us! Everyone will get a chance to make others happy with the most expressive and world-wide understandable language: music.
Maybe the best about hall 4 is at any given time there are happy hackers who want to listen to your music!
== Code of conduct ==
As you may play your set in our lounge we kindly ask you to follow our simple rules.
* There is no such thing like "Open Klinke" or "Open Mic". This means: Do not connect your phone (or whatever) to our PA. Instead, feel free to participate in our "Call for sets".
* Hall 4 is full of people. Be excellent to each other.
* Most of the equipment is our private stuff. No drinks and food at the DJ booth.
* Before using another one's equipment have a short chat with the owner.
* Keep your trash and bottles with you.
…and do not forget some common rules mentioned by the orga staff: [[Static:Safety_and_Security]]
