Description We're a travelling hacker collective from Scotland who represent ourselves and our country at events round the world.

We aim to provide a chilled out, primarily social workspace in the mania of hacker camps and conferences for people to visit, stay, contribute to and share.

We run Scottish themed events in partnerships with other villages / assemblies we're friends with - whisky tastings, food nights, etc.

Location
Note: The location on the map does not represent a reservation of a location and might not represent the actual place, where a assembly can be found. The place can be changed within the form of the assembly by anyone. It will be updated by the assembly itself on day 0 or day 1 as soon as the actual location is known.

Brings We are bringing a virtual beach project, it needs some floor space for set up. 2mx3m would be ideal.
Projects Virtual Beach
Uses money no money handling
Plays TING yes
Plays TING skills {{{Plays ting skills}}}
Character of assembly place to show and meet
Seats needed 10
Extra seats 10
Assembly specification want loud place, want sit public, want low light
Planning notes The virtual beach project uses a projector, some lower light would be really helpful, but the rest of the assembly doesn't require it.

The dn42 social gathering will involve people working on laptops, perhaps arranging new network peerings or showing off network configurations, so seats would be great for that.

past congress review 31c3 - We took over an area of the International Hackerspaces section. This would work again so long as we were able to control a table. The public location was great for us.

32c3 - We joined NoisySquare and had a table up there. We have a table with 8, seats and most of the time we need much more space. The location was out of the way and hard to find. We would have had much more exposure in a more prominent position.
