Description A community that is an IRC network at its core but aims to provide the required components to create a platform where like-minded people can gather, collaborate and inspire each other. We tend to attract people with an interest in programming, administrating systems, electronics, digital freedom and related current events, privacy and FOSS. At the moment we offer secure IRC, shells with static site hosting, mail and gitlab access (with free private projects). We are constantly striving to offer more services that can help bring out the best in people and let them create awesome things together, much like what you could call a cyberhackerspace.

Location
Note: The location on the map does not represent a reservation of a location and might not represent the actual place, where a assembly can be found. The place can be changed within the form of the assembly by anyone. It will be updated by the assembly itself on day 0 or day 1 as soon as the actual location is known.

Brings The boards as described under our projects.
Projects A 8 EUR single-board computer (IRC-SBC) with preconfigured OS to run either an IRC bouncer or IRC client for persistent connectivity. Basically an irccloud alternative that you control yourself. We will have some of these boards available for sale, ready to use. The image will also be made available for free.

Aside from this group-project we will also showcase some projects that members have made or are working on.

Uses money yes we handle money

Extra seats 0
Assembly specification want quiet place, want sit public
Planning notes We'd like to have a powersocket nearby where we can hook our extension cords to. No large current draw expected, power would be used for laptops and small electronics projects. Ethernet access would be convenient, a single connection will suffice. We can bring our own switches if needed.
past congress review Previous year I visited the congress as a member of the Scottish Consulate assembly. Basically, if we could have a similar sort of space and utilities as they had then, we'd be happy.
