Speaker: Julia Reda
Julia Reda is a member of the European Parliament for the European Pirate Party, where she has made copyright reform her legislative focus.
Elected in 2014 in Germany, she is the sole representative of the European Pirate Party in the European Parliament. She is member of the legal affairs, internal market and petitions committees and vice-president of the Greens/EFA group in the European Parliament.
Julia is the president of the Young Pirates of Europe and works on issues such as internet policy, free software, the strengthening of European democracy, and participatory rights.
Julia Reda holds a magister degree in political science and communications science from Mainz University, Germany.
