sublab is a rather new hackerspace in Leipzig, Germany. As we are progressing from establishing a basic infrastructure to building social networks between ourlikes and hosting events for a broader public we would dearly love to have a small representation at this years 26c3.
What we do
As most of our members are showing their hands-on projects like Django, Mikrokopter, FF etc. at other booths our sublab table itself would provide more like a place to meet, get to know ppl interested in hackerspaces in general or our one in leipzig in particular. Additionally we will provide some hands-on-experience and lessons learned concerning hackerspaces including but not limited to:
- thoughts about social organzation
- exchange of project ideas
- pros/cons of differenc public relation strategies
- help and assistance with club-related forms and materials
- aspects of club-law that we found important
Besides those particular topics we would love to create space to exchange ideas, plans and experiences concerning hackerspaces, confident that not only we but the general hacking community will profit by this.
