Rainer Böhme

Researcher in the intersecting fields of economics and computer science

Rainer Böhme holds a degree in communication science, economics and computer science. He is researcher in the privacy and security group of Technische Universität Dresden. His particular interests include steganography and steganalysis, economics of information security as well as behavioural aspects of privacy and security. He authored or co-authored several papers in these fields and he has contributed to a number of open source projects. His roots in the computer scene date back to the times of the C64, where he was known as coder of the group Reflex.
