EVerest Basecamp

The village covers the topic of open source software and technology around electric vehicle charging. We are a group of people that contribute to the open source project EVerest - the operating system for charging stations.

We have equipped a small E-Quad with a charging unit and we have built a small DC charging station (up to 30kW). All the software that we use for the project is part of EVerest. Both units are compliant with the actual standards and design that is actually used in real EVs and charging stations. It will be possible to charge our E-Quad at any DC-Charger at the highway and to use our DC-Charger to charge real EVs. We would like to showcase this in our village, educate people about the software and hardware behind EV Charging and have fun hacking electric vehicles and charging infrastructure.
