Osmocom (Open Source Mobile Communications) is an umbrella project about open source software for a variety of technologies. This incluedes commercial cellular technology (GSM, UMTS, LTE) as well as TETRA, GMR, and many others.

A few osmocom members (LaF0rge, tnt, horiz0n) are residents of the Aachen an der Saar village, where we share a table with gnuradio folks.
