No Future – No Dancefloor Reclaim Club Culture calls for System change, help us upgrade Digital Activism Training - Infrastructuring for the upcoming rave protests for climate #globalstrike

We are looking for supporters and advisors, because we would to upgrade our communication infrastructure being used in mass scale demonstrations in the city. Our need is secure communication while reclaiming the streets, and stable coordination of autonomous groups at neuralgic spots. Before, within and after direct action, during blockades, while executing a performance… you know what we mean… :) Signal, Freifunk, radio … what else is there we dont know about? We as a political network of club culture are fed up with the unwillingness & ignorance of the responsible institutions and right wing neglectivists of climate change. Supporting fff. Join us for discussion and knowledge exchange – No Future, No Dancefloor. Lets start another raveolution! 24.8. (a.k.a. day 4 a.k.a. Saturday) at 4 pm

Location: AFRA dome (next to the RCC decentral office, in lower 1komona)

Some thoughts

Leave your phone at home! Police may force you to unlock it.

What's the point of encrypting if you have moles (undercover cops) in your network?

Fire Chat - open-source clone?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FireChat

FireChat first became popular in 2014 in Iraq following government restrictions on internet use, and thereafter during the Hong Kong protests. In 2015, FireChat was also promoted by protesters during the 2015 Ecuadorian protests. On September 11, 2015, during the pro-independence demonstration called Free Way to the Catalan Republic, FireChat was used 131,000 times.

  • Not open-source MEH
  • Proprietary protocol MEH
  • Requires email verification MEH
  • Overall experience - maybe we can built an open-source clone?
