Our Mission
To freedom of transaction. To blockchain eternity. To the frikkin' moon!
This is the village for all people working on Bitcoin, crypto-currency/economic and blockchain projects.
We want to meet, chat, hack, party and exchange our ideas and experiences.
Everybody working on the new, global, independent economic and financial system is welcome!
Sessions and Workshops
We plan the following program points :)
- IRL Hangout with Denis Ahrens about Bitcoin-Mining-Pools
- IRL Hangout/Workshop with Andreas Schildbach about his Android Bitcoin Wallet
- Video-Hangout with one/some core developers of Dogecoin - langer_hans
- Free public movie screening of the award winning documentary Bitcoin: The End of Money (as we know it) by Torsten Hoffmann
- Tim Watts will talk at the tent about "Neural Networks on the Ethereum-Blockchain" and offers a Lets-get-Started Workshop on Ethereum&Mist
- Workshop: Print secure (enough) Paper Wallets
All times for the sessions will be set on the first camp day. So check this page again for updates or visit the Bitcoin-Tent for the latest news.
Bitcoin Tent Setup
Our rented tent will be 3x6m, with 2 tables, 4 chairs and 2 Bitcoin-Sofas (see on the right).
Will bring a small sound system (PA-Box, Mixer and Microphone), a Beamer and Mid-Size-LCD Screens. So we can make small sessions and workshops.
If you have a project or a session you think will fit into our place - get in contact with rootzoll ... let us know what equipment you like to add to the tent. Camping chairs would be a big plus for example.
Exhibits at the Tent
- Bitcoin Mining with old USB-BlockErupter
- Bitcoin Mining with old Bitmain S1 Miner
- Dogecoin Mining with Gridseed
- Ethereum GPU-Mining Rig
... and we will have Bitcoin and Dogecoin stickers as give aways :D
You have some blockhain related hardware or software to show - you are welcome.
Bitcoin Library
We will bring a collection of Bitcoin Books for you to read in.
If you have a book you would also like to share - bring it and add it to our collection.
More Blockchain at the Camp
Visit also the Progressbar-Village - they will have Bitcoin stuff too.
At DAO Space they are searching for new ways and concepts of transforming society with Blockchain technology.
Brewster Kahle is talking about bitcoin and blockchain in his talk "Locking the Web Open: Call for a Distributed Web"
