The "metarheinmain chaosdays" is a conference of "chaostreffs" (regional groups that meet) from rhein main area. They are certainly open to other chaots and interested persons.

The "metarheinmain chaosdays" is a conference for those who are interested in the it sector and especially the it security aspect of it. Our goal is to facilitate the sharing of knowledge and the meeting of like minded individuals. The mrmcd110b - the sixth metarheinmain chaosdays - written in binary 110b - is an event sponsored by the university student group "chaos darmstadt", a part of the ccc germany.

This event is being held through the good graces of the technical university of darmstadt who has donated their facilities to the conference. It is an effort to bring the diverse perespectives of both academia and the specialized knowledge of the hacker scence together. Users, Developers and Scientists have the possibility to engage in innovative technical discourse. With the doors open to the academic scence there is a chance to display topics related to the social imperative while maintaining the atmosphere of a technical conference. This endeavour seeks to tackle the social problems of our time with technology as our greatest tool.

The Focus of the conference will be:

• electronic voting machines
• Survailence
• Cryptographics
• General IT-Security

We will have talks, workshops and other events related to these topics. We hope that those interested will take advantage of this opportunity and help us make this event truly great. You will be able to interact directly with members of the academic community as well as the insiders of the ccc hacker scence. In addition to theoretical discussion we will be encouraging practical application of current technical paradigms through a number of workshops and a hackcenter, where interesting project groups can display the products of their effort.

The C-RaDaR <http://c-radar.ccc.de> - a hacker radio station from darmstadt - will be broadcasting live from this event.
