on august 6th, 1999, the space ship heart of gold came to planet earth for urgent repair.

celebrating the arrival of the heart of gold, the chaos computer club organized a big meeting at the estimated landing zone near berlin, germany.

everybody was invited to join the party and bring computers and tents for a three-day hacking experience. about 1500 hackers gathered at the spot and successfully reconstructed the ship's board computer.
