Accomodation

I am trying to help people find a place to sleep. I will probably be updating the page on Accomodation again by phoning all the hotels on the list. Help for this is very welcome!

Dinner

I will organize a meeting for everyone at a restaurant on the evening of Day0, ie Dec26th. The space is probably limited to 42 people - so please register early!

Lightning Talks

I intend to add Lightning Talks to this event again.

There are enough requests already to fill a two hour slot every day. We aim to fit in 8+ talks per hour (so 64+ talks at this event).

I very much much like the format of Lightning Talks - that's why I had suggested to have it in the program again.

We need to get in touch with all speakers beforehand. Send us your slides until Friday Dec 04th. Then we can give you some feedback and add your talk for the printed papers.

We definitely need your name (real or nickname), contact address, title talk, and abstract.

Misc

Motto

"Here be Dragons" is yet another cool motto. I hope to see a lot of dragons at the event! Has anyone created any dragon costumes yet?

Streaming

The talks will be streamed. This is a great ooportunity for all who could not make it to the event. Some hackerspaces and even universities will be showing the streams to all. So - get together and watch the streams! See page Dragons_everywhere for info.

Backpack/Suitcase

hint: tag your hardware! put your name and your phone number onto your hardware! so someone who finds your stuff can give you a ring to tell you where your hardware was found.

here is a list of some useful items:

• gpg/pgp fingerprints: user id with name, bits, date of creation, validity, fingerprint

• phone: a DECT phone
• phone: cellphone with SIM prepaid card
• photo: cards (SD+CF etc)

DECT phone: register it at the Phone Operation Centre (POC) - so you can listen to the audio stream of all coference rooms, enjoy free calls within and outside the congress, and have fun with the erotica system or request ethics from the hackers' hotline.
