Who we are?

We are a bunch of students from Beuth-Hochschule-Berlin(DELab). We are playing with various radio equipment like GSM, HAM-Radio, DECT (only a little) and POCSAG (coming soon)

Also the chaos compatible radio amateur group of the DARC D23 and there associated CCC near minds of (chaoswelle.de), is again of the party.

Our projects

Develop a SIM-Card (see note) protocol analyser to...
Develop an experimental SIM-Card for use with openBSC (Development not started yet due the lack of adequate protocol traces and analysers)
Develop dummy loads and attenuators for the BS11-BTS to operate the BTS savely and without causing any interference with the commercial network operators. We want to make sure that the Radio-field of your BTS will not leave your desktop and we want to prove this with adequate measurement equipment.
Put two modified Siemens C5 handsets together, that they function as a small repeater.

Note: There are ready assembled kits for 40Euros available. And you will not only get a protocol analyser, you also get a cardreader and a smartcard emulator!

What we plan to do at the congress:

We have the idea to show the other folks what we are playing with. We also have the Idea to show an opend BS11 BTS for your viewing pleasure.
Maybe we can produce and sell some kits of our simcard protocol analyser hardware.
APRS Gateway
2m and 70cm Station allmode for licenced operators
maybe shortwave for non local connections (SSB / digi mods)

Dexter of CCCB (1 Table for my projects)
Tec from CCCB (1 Table for development + 1 Table for the BS11 exhibition project)

The folks of Chaoswelle (see also http://www.chaoswelle.de/26c3)
at least 3 tables and 5 shears for (chaoswelle.de) near of the tillable window
for the installation of the shortwave and ultra high frequency antennas we need access to the roof top of the BCC (Fire exit on the C level near C04) and Haus des Lehrers (long line antenna)

Note: Please register yourself because the congress-orga will calculate the space needed upon the Information listed here. If you do not list yourself here there might not be enough space for you! Sorry Folks!

Network / Switches: There will be some 24 port 10/100 Mbit switch provided by the NOC. You don't need to ask them about this, it will simply happen.
