The Gym
The gym is available to 26C3 visitors between 26th and 31st.
Oberschule am Köllnischen Park Neue Roßstr. 5 U-Märkisches Museum GPS: N52°30.656' E013°24.586'
- The gym's location is about 1.5km from the bcc and about 800m from the c-base.
- Route from bcc to Gym
- You can easily walk or use the next subwaystation - Märkisches Museum.
- The cost for one night is 5 Euro.
- You can get tickets at the cash desk within the bcc.
Hostels and Hotels
Please note: There is a A&O Special Price check it out!
Those with no accommodation in Berlin at hand can select from a variety of hotels and hostels. There are several backpacker hostels and inexpensive hotels in Berlin offering accommodation in single or double bedrooms for little money per night. These hostels are usually available on short-term booking, however, demand is high during the Congress.
We strongly recommend mentioning the Chaos Communication Congress / CCC. This will sometimes give you better prices and sometimes help you get a shared room with other hackers. Book early, because hotel schedules are getting tight!

Couchsurfing
The couchsurfing.com community offers a lot of open flats to foreigners. Mind you, the community is intended to connect people, not just to offer a free bed.
Try the Berlin EMERGENCY or last minute CouchSearch group.
Squatted universities
At the time there are some squatted universities in Berlin, esp. the Humboldt Universität and the Freie Universität. They offer space and maybe mattresses as well as vegan food for a donation. Most people there are regular students, but open for everyone who behaves or even contributes to the movement. Humboldt Universität is near to the congress center at Unter den Linden 6 (2km). Find out more at the German portal for the "Bildungsstreik" or Blog of the squatted Humboldt University.
Well, actually the same at the Uni Potsdam. It's about ~45min away from the bcc but it's very cool there and there's also space left. (Berlin->Potsdam Hbf -> Bus 605,606... to "Neues Palais" from there around 5minute walk in driving direction, till the university appears on your right.
