We've realized our idea of the future of media use. And show how to build an open source software that makes it easier and more comfortable to discover, watch, archive and and securely share online video content. Our Software enables users to share online video playlists across different Video Platforms. We want to allow Users to free public content from any online video platform.
eduMagnet offers a central place to discover, watch and archive online videos.

The Project creates an open source Desktop Player Software and a Web Plattform. Users can find, browse, archive, and view online Videos (online and offline) with the Desktop Player.
Playlists can be published to the eduMagnet.org website where others can then follow those playlists. One playlist can point to different online Video services from all over the web (currently about 20 services are available – e.g. YouTube, Blip, Economist, ARD&ZDF (German TV stations), ... ).
New video services can be integrated into our software via an open plug-in architecture.
