Queuesort
Experience has shown that there's always a long queue between 11:00 and 13:00 on the first day of the congress. Two years ago we started to sell tickets in the evening before. With the result that there was a long queue during the time we did our final setup as well. In contrast to some hip clubs and events we don't like the queues.
Therefore During crunch time there will be a fast lane: two additional cash desks that sell nothing but standard day-passes and standard full tickets. All other tickets (member, pupils, ALG II, supporter and business tickets) are available at the not quite as fast lane. Invited press, speakers and guests use the not quite as fast lane as well but may jump the queue if they chose so.
To separate the lanes we use a different entrance for each lane. Please look out for signs and ask which queue you are about to join. Perhaps we send someone with a megaphone to sort things out.

About the Tickets
Children under 12 in attendance of an adult get in for free.
A single person officially accompanying a handicapped person gets in for free.
Supporter/Business Tickets
Including the good feeling to have supported a good cause. If you or your employer want to support our event, please consider buying those tickets. We try hard to keep the normal tickets very cheap. Financial sponsoring helps us in achieving this aim. By offering Supporter and Business Tickets we try to provide you with a convenient way of supporting us that usually does not even require involvement of your company's marketing department. All tickets come with an invoice, the Business Ticket even includes a small surprise welcome package. Another possibility to support the congress is a tax-deductible donation or sponsoring, please contact 25C3-orga at cccv.de for further information
Pupil Tickets
Pupil tickets are available for the youngest and most penniless hackers: This means non-university and non-college students, typically people between 13 and 19 years of age with some kind of official document proving their status. If you are not sure if your status matches this, please check with us by writing to 25c3-orga (at) cccv.de.
University and college students have to pay the usual entrance fee.
Press
Members of the press must pay the SAME price as any other participant and are obliged to carry a badge with the word "PRESS" on it, clearly visible. The IDs will be issued at the entrance. See the Guidelines for the Press for further information.
Notes
Reservation
Reservation is not needed for normal participants. Only the press is kindly asked to register in advance. See the Press pages for details.
Payment
Tickets can be purchased at the door. Unfortunately there will be no advance ticket sales. Credit cards and ec-cards will not be accepted, we take only cash in banknotes up to 100 Euros. Please be prepared.
Opening Hours of the Cash Desk
The cash desk will open at 17:00 on 26th of December until 30th of December. Experience has shown that there's always a long queue between 11:00 and 13:00 on the first day of the congress. Avoid waiting and missing part of the programm by getting your ticket the evening before if you already happen to be in Berlin. Note that we sell only night passes between 2:00 and 8:00 on Dec. 28th, 29th and 30th.
Bills and Receipts
Please ask for a receipt or (above 150€) a bill right at the moment you're buying your ticket at the cash desk. The angel in charge will hand it to you immediately. We excuse for not being able to write bills afterwards. You wouldn't get one in a supermarket or warehouse, too.
Queues
The not quite as fast lane will lead through the (usual) main entrance near fairy dust (the green rocket) to 4 cash desk terminals. This lane is proper for every one, who wants to buy a non-standard ticket. This means, every one intending to buy a member ticket, a ticket with pupil cut or anything like that, has to queue the lane at the main entrance.
The fast lane will lead through the former exit, the side entrance (across from Alexa) to 2 cash desk terminals. At this lane only people, who want to buy a standard full ticket or standard day pass will be operated. This means, every one intending to by a non-standard ticket (member, pupil, ALG II), will be send to queue again at the not quite as fast lane (see above).
Invited press, guests and speakers may jump the queue at the main entrance (please don't queue the fast lane at the side entrance), to be welcomed by the entrance supervisor and receive their tickets. If you are press without invitation, please don't jump the lane, you'll have to queue again to buy a usual ticket.
