Description Neo900 is a project that aims to make an open linux based smartphone that incorporates a number of novel security features that can help to detect and/or suppress rogue behaviour of untrusted subsystems. This talk will briefly introduce the eventful past of the project and its predecessors, give an overview of the general hardware architecture, and then describe the novel security concepts in detail.
