Rhialto is a wizard from the Dying Earth books by Jack Vance. He is a quick and witty talker, and popular with the girls, for as long as it lasts anyway. His fellow-wizards don't like him very much though, they think he's too clever, and a scoundrel.
Whether the above description applies to the real person remains to be seen.
He claimed DECT 6523 since it spells his real name.
